LAN based labs are generally installed on user's computer lab where all computers are connected in a 100MBPS LAN.Teacher's computer needs a COM port for both types of labs.

1. Teacher's workstation:

For both ACEN 5.0 and Acenet 5.1- Teacher's workstation is a computerized audio/video routing equipment controlling the audio/video network. Optional VGA network with associated hardware.

2. Students equipment -

ACEN Classical LL Recorder and Headset:
Two x half track format, record/play/erase on both the ‘Student’ and ‘Teacher’ tracks; AC bias system.  Dynamic headsets using close speaking microphone.

ACEN Y2K LL Recorder and Headset:
Two x half track format; record/play both the tracks, erase student track only; DC bias system. Dynamic headphone and electret microphone.

For Acenet 5.1
The computer that is a part of user supplied LAN; ‘auditext’ virtual recorder installed on student’s computer, student terminal, headset.

 3. Booths

For five students in a row. Construction-steel stands; plywood desks laminated white; partitions between students laminated light gray and front glasses.  Dispatched from factory ready to assemble at site.The supply excludes chairs.Booths may be user spplied.
